Junior Forum, Inc.

The Houston Junior Forum is a chapter and founding member of Junior Forum Incorporated (“JFI”). The mission of JFI is to support member chapters in achieving their goals and to promote the growth of the organization. JFI, a uniquely Texas organization, has 9 member chapters across the State of Texas.

  • The Houston Junior Forum, Inc. was the first Junior Forum chapter formed in Texas, in 1946.
  • Each of the 9 chapters is a non-profit woman’s service organization which provides thousands of volunteer hours and millions in financial assistance in serving the communities of Austin, Baytown, Dallas, Georgetown, Houston, Pasadena, San Antonio, Nacogdoches, and Cypress-Woodlands.

  • The Junior Forum chapters meet annually in a member city to share ideas for fundraising, volunteering and simply to enjoy friendly relationships. Many friendships have formed over the years among the sister chapters.
